The Net has led to a resurgence in animation, largely thanks to Macromedia's Flash format. Supporting both SWF and EXE file formats, it provides the ability to resize and watch videos in full-screen mode, and lets users create playlists and extract movies from the Internet Explorer or Mozilla caches.
